Mark and Anna Burgess and their son Daniel working in Lima, Peru.

A message from the Burgess family:

We are Mark, Anna and Daniel Burges and we moved to Lima, Peru in September 2007.

Mark was a member of Bramley Baptist Church from 1998-2003, and Mark and Anna are members of St Thomas' Philadelphia in Sheffield.

In Peru we want to see God's kingdom breakthrough into the lives of many people. We are excited about helping people to know Jesus and grow to know Him better. We hope to see individuals released into their destinies through a deeper understanding of the Father's heart, discipleship and church planting. We are members of the Order of Mission, http://www.missionorder.org

Dates for visiting UK again: End of June 2008

Prayer points:

  1. That we would adapt quickly into the Peruvian culture and avoid too many cultural misunderstandings!
  2. That we would be able to discern the steps to starting a discipleship year.
  3. That we would know deeper intimacy with Jesus and share it with others.
Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labour in vain. - Psalm 127:1 (text verse for 2008)
