On Sunday
-
The morning Services are particularly family friendly, with creche facilities available at the back of the church. We have a Sunday School ('Y-Zone') for ages 5 and above (KS1 & KS2). Children usually join in the Service for the first 20 minutes or so, before leaving for their own sessions. All Staff are enhanced DBS checked.
-
Several times throughout the year we have an All Age Family Service, for which all the children and young people stay in the church. 'Y-Zone' sometimes have the chance to take a more active role by preparing part of the Service, providing Readings, Drama, Puppetry and Audio-Visual displays.
- Our Toddler Group meets in the Family Centre from 9:30-11:30am on Wednesdays during Term Time. The charge is £2 per family, which includes a drink and a healthy snack. The group is for pre-school children (including babies) and their parents/carers.
- The group meets upstairs in the Family Centre - the large building next to the Bramley Baptist Church building in Hough Lane (opposite St. Peter's Primary School). Access is the first door at the front on the ground floor – there's a doorbell to press if the door is locked. A lockable shed is available to store prams and buggys during the session. The group is run by a team of volunteers, several of whom are members of Bramley Baptist Church.
Facilities include: ride on cars & scooters, a Soft Play area with a Ball Pool, a home corner, playdough table, Craft table and designated baby area with playpen, play gyms & toys.
- Most of the session is free-play, with drinks and snacks around 10:00 am, a Singing Time at the end. Plenty of seating for parents and carers to chat and relax. Our average attendance is 20-25 children plus their parents/carers.
